Our department is home to many exemplary faculty who are leading researchers of their fields, expanding the boundaries of mathematics with rigorous discipline and imaginative solutions. Encompassing both pure mathematics and interdisciplinary work, our faculty is affiliated with a number of research groups at Illinois including The Combinatorics RTG, The Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, The Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology Center, The Carl R.
