Esther Portnoy Actuarial Science Scholarship

The Esther Portnoy Actuarial Science Scholarship is established in honor of Professor Emeritus Esther Portnoy, who was a long-time director and pioneer of the Actuarial Science Program. The program went through tremendous growth under her directorship. The main aim of this scholarship is to help grow and train new generations of actuaries and actuarial scientists with strong leadership and critical thinking skills, in particular from historically underrepresented backgrounds.
