Research Interests
Analytic number theory, sieve theory. I am particularly interested in the properties of primes, sums of two squares, and other objects with interesting multiplicative structure.
I mainly work with sieve methods, especially Harman’s sieve and the GPY method, and more recently also with various large sieve variants. In connection with sieves, I have spent time thinking about large values of Dirichlet polynomials and exponential sums.
Education
Before coming to UIUC, I completed my DPhil at the University of Oxford under the supervision of James Maynard, and spent a year as postdoc at Stanford University.
