Biography
I am a third-year PhD student in the UIUC mathematics department. My advisor is Jacob Rasmussen.
Outside of mathematics, I enjoy playing guitar and piano, composing music, working out, reading, writing, and various outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and climbing.
Research Interests
I am interested in knot theory, categorification, representation theory, and low-dimensional topology.
Research Description
Currently, I am studying generating functions for the colored HOMFLY-PT "polynomials" of rational knots and tangles via their corresponding two-bridge diagrams. I am also starting to think about the volume and AJ conjectures.
