The Vincent O. Greene Scholarship in Mathematics, awarded for the first time in 2012, is given to deserving undergraduate students based on academic merit, with a preference to candidates interested in teaching. Mr. Greene spent his career at the University, and provided this scholarship because of his lifelong interest in education and because he "wanted to give young people a boost".
