SOA/CAS Exam Center

The University of Illinois Actuarial Science Program is proud to host semiannual professional actuarial exams for the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Fall 2016 MLC Exam:
Date: Friday, October 28, 2016
Time: 8:30 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
Location: Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) – Multi-Purpose Room 7

Multi-Purpose Room 7 is located on the concourse level. Please check out the interactive facility map for its location.

Spring 2017 MLC Exam:
Date: Tuesday, April 25, 2017
Time: 8:30 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
Location: Illini Union – Illini Room A

Illini Room A is located on the main level of Illini Union, 1401 W. Green Street.

Candidates should bring their Acknowledgement Letter/Order Summary to the exam. The electronic Acknowledgement Letter is the Ticket of Admission. Candidates should retain their candidate number(s) to check exam results. All candidates will be required to sign in and show valid government issued ID upon entering the test center as follows: One current form of photo identification with your signature (e.g., driver’s license, passport, school or work identification, etc.) or, in the absence of photo identification, two current forms of identification with signature, and at least one of these forms should have a physical description (height, weight, color of hair and eyes, etc.). Anyone unable to meet these requirements will NOT BE PERMITTED into the test center.

Exam room will be open 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam to allow for check-in procedures. Building, room and washroom are architecturally accessible for the handicapped.

You can use your own earplugs during the exam. Only beverages are permitted in the examination room. Consumption of any food is prohibited except for medical situations where the SOA has provided authorization.
